BAIT FISHING PROHIBITED

BAIT FISHING PROHIBITED

As of June 21, and until further notice, baiting for fishing, i.e. the use of bait, even light, for fishing activity, in particular for carp fishing, is prohibited in the Saint-Cyr Lake.

Despite our efforts and our complementary studies, we have not yet been able to identify the cause of the episodes of cyanobacteria on the Saint-Cyr Lake. In order to preserve the quality of the water, the communities have therefore decided to prohibit, until further notice, baiting and therefore carp fishing.

In order to be able to determine the real causes, several hypotheses and many factors remain under study.

Fishing with lures remains authorized in zone 1 and zone 2.

I consult the order prohibiting priming.
